Early access

FOCUS is currently offered on an invitation, early-access basis. Features, availability, and these terms may change as the product develops, and we’ll do our best to let early-access users know when something material changes.

Accounts

You sign in to FOCUS using your existing Google or Microsoft account. You’re responsible for keeping that account secure and for activity that happens under it.

Acceptable use

• Use FOCUS only for lawful purposes and only for your own or your organization’s legitimate work.
• Don’t attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service.
• Don’t use FOCUS to violate anyone else’s rights.

Your content

You own the objectives, tasks, notes, and other planning content you put into FOCUS. You grant us the rights needed to process that content — including sending relevant parts of it to the third-party providers named in our Privacy Policy — solely in order to provide the product to you.

Service provided “as is”

During early access, FOCUS is provided on an “as available” basis, without warranties of uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, or that it will be error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FOCUS and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. [Specific liability caps and carve-outs — to be finalized by counsel.]

Termination

You may stop using FOCUS at any time. We may suspend or end access to the service, including during early access, at any time. Sections of these terms that are meant to survive termination (such as Limitation of Liability) continue to apply afterward.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — to be finalized by counsel], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change to these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top of it.
